Shrirampur : Fr. Francis D’Brito visited St Xavier’s School, Shrirampur and shared his wisdom with the students. As he was addressing the students, he reminded them about the American President Honourable Mr. Barak Obama’s statement, “Yes, We can”. Because of this statement, he reached to the summit of his life, i.e. being the President of America. He further stated,” Be optimistic and try to be happy in all that you have and do.”
God has gifted us with different talents so we must make good use of them and face the difficulties of life. Students should gain comprehensive knowledge and reach the zenith.
On behalf of school management, Rev. Fr. James Thorat welcomed Rev. Fr. Francis D’Brito with a bouquet, shawl and coconut. Mrs. Pathak , Mrs. Milagrin and Mr. Bansode also gave warm welcome to Fr. Britto and thanked him for his guidance. The Chief Guest was introduced by Mr. Lucas Dive and Mr. Anand Pattekar anchored the program.
The program was very enriching and an inspiration to the students and teachers to have such a versatile person with them. It has challenged them to excel in their talents.
On 5th of September, 2015 The Teachers’ Day was celebrated on a grand scale by Maharashtra Education Board, Shrirampur. Several teachers were awarded for their noble service in the field of education. We are proud and honored that one of our primary teachers Mr. Sharad Solas was awarded as the Best Teacher of the year 2014-15.
